Game Development Log 1


This is the first development update. For now I decided to make one monthly update at the end of each month. To show progress but also show that the project is alive and worked on as well.
But only if I was able to make some decent progress, if there is nothing or not much to say I probaly will skip the month.

This is very experimental, feedback is welcome.
===TF Progress===
I finished two new tf stories, both related to the new underwater areas. One of the stories is for the extra tf that was featured in the demo as a bonus but had no associated story or field ability in the demo.

The other one is a complete new tf and story.  I just hadn't time to test play them yet to see if they work correctly.
Also I finished working on one new party member who will join after completing both of the tf stories.

===Area Progress===
As mentioned before I mainly worked on making the underwater areas including the mermaid city. But the eastern and south western plains also got little bit worked on since they are needed to reach the two new tf storys but still very barren.

All story important areas for these two are finished and just need some more polish.
But many of the optional underwater areas are still missing. 

The already existing maps got updated to include some new spots to use the field abilities from the new tf's to explore and discover some new things there as well.

New enemies got made as well. There are a decent amount of new aquatic based enemies but also a few new land creatures.


===Side Quest===
6 new guild quest have been made.
I also spend a lot of time working on the casino which is part of one of the new quests.
Currently only the slots machines are working in the casino but I am planning to add gacha as well to collect TF Cards.  And maybe add the possibility there, to replay minigames.
Since the casino is mostly luck based it is very optional and nothing in there is required to progress the main game.

I also working on a new extension for the forest home that can be bought.
I currently still am working on the stuff that can be done there.


===Community Changes and Improvements===
Some suggestions and feedback from the community that I also changed/included to make the game better.

  • Notifications when new quests are available at the guild.
  • Rebalance a certain form that is based around dodging.
  • Bosses are now immune to "Stun" and other normal enemies have a higher resistance.
  • Hints got renamed to make them not spoiler which tf's are missing.
  • The Merchant now shows a picture of where the bought forest home is located when buying it.

There were also a lot more smaller changes like the roads outside of town now look more ruined and run down but I only wanted to list the bigger changes that impact gameplay more.
