Game Development Log 10
Progress on the final dungeon is going well, gameplay wise it is mostly laid out, mainly missing the final boss fight and story. It will be in version 1.0. For this version that much new got added but instead I took the month to polish a lot of things and systems while working on the final dungeon. There are so many quality of live improvments as well as bug fixes that playing should feel much better in a lot of areas. Also a few more hints got added to various quests.
With the release of 0.9, version 0.6 will become public. Also the already known bugs post got updated to with the release of version 0.6.
===TF Progress===
The poll winning transformation got added. It is a secret tf so it is a lot harder to find. A good starting point may be the northern plains. Also one new, new game plus perk got added. When bought it adds hints for hidden tf's like for this new transformation.
===Rebalancing===
A frozen tundra mistake got fixed. The mountain path added 200 extra cold dmg to the player which was meant for the frozen tundra area. This got fixed and now happens in the frozen tundra area insteadA also finally redid the heat/cold systems. The heat and cold systems got improved on. Now you can change equipment in the areas and it gets updated in real time. A lot of bugs relating to it should also have been fixed.
Some rings now also grant heat/cold protection. And some clothes got rebalanced to have a higher heat resistance.
Counter damage got rebalanced. It now has a times two multiplier and the damage of counters also scales based on the caster luck as well. Before it was just based of the characters atk stat. The new "Counter Dmg Amplified" status effect sets the multiplier to times 5!
Additional hints for the following quests: "Aquatic Creature TF Quest", "Ore Collection", "Mermaid Treasure Hunt" and "Search for Power".
Bee hives shake now when the hive isn't "cleared" and the bee form is unlocked.
Snow Jaguars attack element is now fire, it accidentally was set to water. The boss now takes dmg as it should be after applying the field effect. The field effect skill now is also learned at level 10 instead of 15 making it less tedious to get. Also Snow Jaguars form also has now "Frozen" immunity.
Lamia now has a field ability which allows to press switches that require a ot of weight to press. Currently there is only one such switch in the game, more being added later.
Field ability from Sabertooth is enabled again.
Some Sun blessings have been buffed.
Also a few changes to the distorted dungeon:
-It is now possible to leave before more easily.
-Loot Rooms in the distorted dungeon now can have extra loot. Getting it requires certain tf forms and/or TP to loot the spots.
-Added a extra hint.
Small rework of the dojo skill learning area, now all areas are connected even if the required tf's isn't unlocked yet. In that case that area is just empty.
Added the Party Formation App!
Lets you set the number of active battle members. It can be found in the bonus room in town since I don't have found a spot to include it yet. It also isn't thoroughly tested. Setting it to one active party member can make some bosses much harder too beat.
I also finally took the time to update the mini maps of most areas that can be looked at with the Vision Stone. And also added all mini maps for all missing areas.
A lot of small adjustments and fixes to skills of various tf forms. Too many to list them all here.
===Area Progress===
More new caves got added.
One new house can be entered in the northern part of town. It is related to the new demon hunting questline that can be accepted in the guild.
Five new seeds can be planted now. (Two of which could be found before but not planted.) Also two previous not correctly working seeds got fixed.
There is a new VIP Travel Pass that can be bought in town when having at least a reputation of 125. It also allows you to warp any of the dungeons you have discovered.
===Side Quest===
There is now a card black market for gacha cards. If you have the money to spare you can get the cards there instead of trying your luck in the casino. Higher reputations unlocks the more rare cards to buy. You also can buy booster packs if you're want to gamble your money instead of casino tokens.
One new questline involving the optional demon huntings quest got added. Now all demon hunting quests can be finished. The quest can be accepted at the guild after completing the first world dungeon and having a reputation of at least 150.
The quest for rabbit to get their new transformation is now added as well. Though it feels more like an evolution that a transformation. It can be triggered by going back into the depths of the rabbit burrow after acquiring the first world fragment. Rabbit needs to be in the party for it to trigger.
The special tf equipment now got their own equipment slot: "Keepsake". There will be keepsakes for party members later as well.
One new forest home extension can be bought in town.
A lot of new equipment got added that can increase accuracy. Some can be bought in the towns armor shop, the amount depends on how far the shop has been upgraded.
Also three new positive status effects got added into the game: "Counter Dmg Amplified", "Aftershock" and "Reactivation". One of them got included into some of the existing weapon classes and forms. The other one is mainly, but not exclusive, for Rabbit that got their transformation.

===What is next?===
Next is the finally, the last dungeon and boss fight. As well as more quality of life upgrades and bug fixes. I also want to add in that the mansion in town can be bought and maybe even can be somewhat freely decorated. And maybe another party member transformation as well. Version 1.0 won't be the last update but the last one for now that adds major content to the game. Afterwards I want to focus on remaking the games tilesets an replace them with selfmade ones. Redoing the games graphic will take a lot of time. Bug fixes and small addition updates still will come after 1.0 as long as bugs get found and reported.
===Community Changes and Improvements===
Some suggestions and feedback from the community that I also changed/included to make the game better.
- Added missing Gauntlet Mastery Skills
- Rebalanced some if Xia's skills
- Reduced some of the casino prices
- Updated old Mini Maps that cna be seen with the Vision Stone
- The card collection quest can now be completed
- Fixed a few various oversights
- Fixed a display bug with the names of new bees caught.
- Fixed a possible softlock in the mineshafts
- Fixed that some items having no descriptions
- Fixed some bugs in the dojo skill learning area
- Fixed wrong encounters when fighting some of the new optional demon fights
- Fixed a broken gate in one of the new areas
- Fixed a small oversight in the new desert area
- Fixed broken diving spot in the northern plains
- Fixed a lot more spelling mistakes
- Fixed some bugs related to the mystery key use
- A lot more I forgot
